If Jeremiah Freed represents the youngsters, Cadillac Moon were the guardians of the old school. Featured in the Al Pacino/Keanu Reeves thriller, The Devil's Advocate, they are perhaps the last band standing in the genre of old-school blues. Their version of "I Feel Good" would make the Godfather of Soul feel proud, while "Writing on the Wall" made riding on the Long Island Rail Road more depressing than it already is. They managed to bring the funk while also bringing the noise, all with a little bit of soul and a whole lotta love.
